Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has opened the application process for class 6 admission for the 2026–2027 academic year. Students who are interested and qualified can begin applying online on June 1, 2025, with the deadline set for July 29, 2025. For admission to class 6, NVS administers the JNVST entrance exam annually; this year, it will be administered in two stages. Phases one and two will take place on December 13, 2025, and April 11, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.
Who is eligible to apply for JNVST?
The date of birth of the applying student should be between 1st May 2014 to 31st July 2016. Additionally, the student must be enrolled in class 5 during the 2025–2026 academic year or have finished class 5 at an accredited institution. Students who wish to enroll can apply from the same district. Ten is the minimum age and twelve is the maximum.
